We stand behind every Peelclear application with a 20-year warranty — one of the longest and most comprehensive warranties in the automotive protection industry. This is not marketing language. It is a binding commitment that reflects our confidence in the product, the science behind it, and the certified installers who apply it.
When Peelclear is applied by a certified installer and registered through our warranty system, your vehicle's protection is documented, guaranteed, and reported to CARFAX for added peace of mind.
What's Covered
The Peelclear warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that occur under normal use conditions.
Yellowing
If the Peelclear coating develops yellowing or discoloration not caused by external contamination, the warranty covers repair or replacement of the affected area.
Premature Peeling
If the coating begins to lift, peel, or delaminate from the surface on its own — without being intentionally removed — the warranty covers the issue.
Cracking
If the coating develops cracks, splits, or fractures under normal conditions, the warranty covers repair or reapplication of the affected panels.
Fading
If the coating experiences significant color fading beyond normal aging, the warranty covers the defect. Peelclear's UV stabilizers are designed to maintain color integrity over time.
Adhesion Failure
If the coating fails to bond properly to the vehicle surface — despite correct surface preparation and application by a certified installer — the warranty covers the defect.
What's Not Covered
The following situations fall outside the scope of the Peelclear warranty.
Coatings applied by non-certified installers, or by certified installers who did not follow Peelclear's approved application protocols, are not covered.
Damage caused by accidents, vandalism, improper washing techniques, abrasive compounds, or intentional misuse is not covered.
Alterations to the coating after application — including painting over the Peelclear surface, applying additional coatings, or partial removal and reapplication by a non-certified party — void the warranty for affected areas.
The warranty applies exclusively to applications performed by Peelclear certified installers and registered through the official warranty system. Work performed by uncertified shops is not eligible for warranty coverage.
The coating is designed to protect against road hazards, and minor surface wear from years of driving is expected and normal. The warranty covers defects in the product, not expected wear from use.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact Your Installer
Reach out to the certified Peelclear installer who applied your coating. They are your first point of contact for any warranty concerns and can assess the issue in person.
Provide Your Warranty Registration Number
Have your warranty registration number ready. This was provided to you at the time of service and is also on file with your installer. It allows us to verify the application details and warranty status.
Assessment & Resolution
Your installer will assess the issue and, if it falls within warranty coverage, coordinate with Peelclear to resolve it. Warranty repairs are handled at the installer level, with product and support provided by Peelclear.
CARFAX Integration
Every Peelclear warranty registration is reported to CARFAX and appears on the vehicle's history report. This provides several important benefits:
- Documented proof that the vehicle's paint has been professionally protected
- Adds verifiable value to the vehicle's history for future buyers
- Distinguishes your vehicle from unprotected vehicles on the used market
- Provides transparency about the vehicle's care and maintenance history

Warranty Registration
Peelclear warranty registration is handled by your certified installer at the time of service. There is nothing you need to do — your installer registers the job through our system, and you receive your warranty certificate with a unique registration number. This ensures a seamless experience and guarantees that the registration details are accurate and complete.
